General
After your 2-week trial ends, you’ll need to subscribe to AZUM to continue using the platform. To do this:
1. Click the credit card icon in the top-right corner in your AZUM dashboard.
2. Enter your details under “Payment Information.”
3. Select “Save Payment Method.”
4. Choose a subscription and click “Subscribe Now” to complete your subscription.
No, this is not required for the following reasons: AZUM System PLC (“AZUM”) qualifies as a data controller under Art. 4(7) GDPR, not as a data processor. Therefore, the contractual relationship is governed by the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) and a Privacy Policy, not a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
– Under the GDPR, the controller determines the purposes and means of data processing.
– As the operator, AZUM decides if and how customer data is processed.
– Similar to platforms like Facebook, AZUM acts as an independent controller.
Accordingly, AZUM provides users with GTCs and a transparent Privacy Policy; a DPA is not legally appropriate.
To cancel your paid AZUM subscription:
1. Click the credit card icon in your dashboard.
2. Under “Your Subscriptions,” select “Cancel Plan”.
3. Confirm the cancellation.
Please contact the AZUM team at hello@azum.com if you want to delete your account.
Interfaces & Connections
Your activities sync automatically when you connect your AZUM account with Garmin, Wahoo, Polar, Coros, or Suunto.
When linked to Garmin or Wahoo, workouts sync up to 90 days back. Polar does not support retroactive imports.
You can also import activities manually. Only .FIT and .TCX files are supported.
Note: Workouts completed on Zwift and synced via Garmin Connect cannot be transferred to AZUM. Record your Zwift sessions directly or download the .FIT file from Zwift and upload it manually to AZUM.
Yes, you can do this in your AZUM profile.
1. Click the gear icon next to your Garmin connection.
2. Adjust the pool length and save.
Note: Synchronization between AZUM and Garmin updates every 15 minutes after changes are made in AZUM.
Golden Cheetah is one of the most advanced analysis tools and can be connected to AZUM in a few steps.
1. Visit www.goldencheetah.org, scroll to “NEW Snapshot Releases”, and download the version for your operating system.
2. Install the software on your computer.
3. Connect Golden Cheetah to AZUM: Go to: Athlete → Open → New Athlete (if needed). Click the gear icon → User Accounts → + → Activities → AZUM → Authorize. Log in to AZUM, select Authorize → Next → choose your athlete → complete.
It may take a few minutes for synchronization.

No, all external services (Garmin, Wahoo, Polar, etc.) can only be linked to one AZUM account.
No, detailed analysis with AZUM is not possible for Strava activities. Strava only sends us a basic summary, not the full analysis file (like a .FIT file). AZUM can only display very basic training stats and will redirect you to Strava for analysis.
For full monitoring in AZUM, you must connect your device account (Garmin, Polar, Suunto, etc.) directly.
Critical Warnings:
– Never connect both Strava and a direct service (e.g., Garmin) at the same time, as this will create duplicates.
– If you disconnect Strava, their policy requires us to permanently delete all your past activities that were synced from them.
Yes. Go to your AZUM Agenda and click the gear icon on top of the calendar. You have two options:
1. Live Sync (Recommended): Copy the “Sync URL”. Paste this link into your external calendar’s “Subscribe from URL” function (e.g., in Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar).
2. One-Time Export: Click “Export Agenda” to download an .ICS file, which you can then manually import into your calendar. (Note: This is a static snapshot and will not update.)
Yes, you can import completed workouts, but only .FIT files are supported.
If you export your history from another service, you will often get a .ZIP file. We cannot support .ZIP files for security reasons. You must first unzip the file on your computer.
After unzipping, you can drag and drop the individual .FIT files onto the upload button in the top bar of your AZUM Agenda.
Please note: This process is only for completed workouts. You cannot import planned training sessions.
This is a simple manual export, not an automatic sync.
1. In your AZUM dashboard, open the planned training you want to ride.
2. Click “Export Training” and select “Export to Zwift”. A .ZWO file will download.
3. Copy and paste that .ZWO file into your Zwift workouts folder. This is usually located at: Documents/Zwift/Workouts/[Your Zwift ID]
4. Restart Zwift. The workout will be available in your “Custom Workouts” library.
This is only possible for Garmin, as other services (Polar, Wahoo, etc.) do not yet offer this.
To enable automatic synchronisation with Garmin:
1. In your AZUM Dashboard, click your name > “Edit Profile”.
2. Find the Garmin connection and click the gear icon (Settings).
3. Check the box labeled “Enable automatic synchronization”.
4. Click “Save”.
Your planned training sessions for the next two weeks will now be exported to your Garmin calendar.
Please Note:
– The main synchronization for new workouts happens once daily at midnight.
– If a planned workout is changed in AZUM, the update will sync to Garmin within 15 minutes.
System Administration
Your AZUM Cloud already contains everything you need to get started with coaching. However, if you want to further customize the platform, you can use the System Administration.
For example, you can manage sports and training modules. You can add your own training zones, intensities, exercises (with videos/links), training cycles, events, etc. You will also find lists of all your training and nutrition plans.
You need to refresh your user interface for changes to be applied.
1. Go to the “System administration” and select “Users”.
2. Click on the desired athlete and scroll to the checkboxes.
3. Remove the check from “Active” and save your changes.
The athlete can no longer log in, and the deactivated account will no longer be charged. You can reactivate the account at any time. Important: This only works for additional accounts on top of your fixed subscription price.
1. Go to the “System administration” and select “Users”.
2. Click on the desired account and scroll to the checkboxes.
3. Assign roles via the checkboxes.
4. At the bottom of the page, you can assign a coach to the chosen athlete.
5. Save your changes and refresh the user interface.
Yes, in AZUM you can assign multiple coaches to athletes.
1. Go to the “System administration” and select “Users”.
2. Click on the desired athlete and scroll down to the bottom.
3. Select the Coaches here. Please note that only persons who have the coach role can be assigned.
Coupons allow you to share a training plan you’ve created via a link. This is ideal for promoting test plans or selling plans to new customers.
If the person already has an account, they can add the plan. If they don’t, they will be prompted to create one in your AZUM cloud.
How to create a coupon:
1. Create a training plan in the agenda and save it as a template.
2. Go to System administration and select “Coupons”.
3. Click “Add coupon” and enter a unique code (the name of your coupon).
4. Select the product (the template you want to link) and an optional validity period.
5. Save your coupon.
6. To get the link: Go back to your dashboard, open your company profile (the ID icon in the top bar), select your coupon, and the link will appear.
